Challenge
One of the most distinctive hotels in Vienna needed an emergency cooling system in order to replace their broken-down chiller. There were several constraints to this project, particularly concerning its installation. The system needed to be installed on a public road and walkway, which required gaining permission from local authorities. It also needed to have a hydraulic and electrical connection installed – without causing any damage or disruption to the overhead lines of a nearby tramway.
Solution
Trane Rental Service quickly provided an air-cooled chiller supplying 200 kW comfort cooling for all areas of the hotel. This installed chiller combines high efficiency with low sound levels with no compromise of reliability.
Results
The customer relied on our proven reliability and experience to provide the needed cooling system with excellent and responsive support. The system was installed for four months in a public parking space next to the hotel securing reliable and healthycomfort cooling to guests and staff during the entire summer season.
