Modular and scalable

City Advantage CXWF heat pumps are designed to deliver outstanding year-round efficiency for medium to large-sized commercial buildings and process cooling applications:

• Ideal for historic city centers and older buildings: These units are specially designed for easy transportation and installation in restricted spaces.

• Modular and Compact Design: The modular design allows for easy capacity extension as building or industrial process cooling and heating demands evolve.

High energy performance and sustainability

CXWF heat pumps are sustainable, electrified alternative to traditional fossil-fueled boilers.

All CXWF heat pumps pass the high seasonal energy efficiency thresholds (SCOP or SEER) as defined in the applicable EU Ecodesign regulation.

Superior (seasonal) energy performance key benefits:
• Low operating costs: Enjoy reduced annual operating costs due to low electricity usage.
• Sustainable HVAC system: Benefit from a system with low carbon emissions, contributing to a greener environment.
• Financial incentives: Gain access to national heat pump subsidies or fiscal grant schemes.

Perfect match for Geothermal applications

Trane’s City Advantage heat pumps are ideally suited for geothermal applications, thanks to their advanced technologies:

• Ground source heat pump compatibility: When used as ground source heat pumps, these units prevent the mixing of source side fluid (with glycol) and user side fluid (usually pure water).

• Consistent pressure drops: The design ensures constant pressure drops in the ground source loop, as both water loops (source and user side) always use the same heat exchanger in both summer and winter.

RANGE DESCRIPTION
  • City Advantage - CXWF heat pumps are available in 19 different capacities, with features that can be optimized to suit your building’s size and function.

Your Trane Sales Engineer will help you select the ideal CXWF heat pump based on your specific performance criteria and available technical room space.
