A renowned energy solutions provider in Germany encountered significant hurdles with the cooling infrastructure at their new and refurbished chip factory in Berlin. Solution
During this challenging period, they explored an alternative solution known as Trane EaaSy rental , which offered a comprehensive and flexible full-service approach. The proposed EaaSy contract provided a no-investment required strategy, enabling the company to manage their cooling needs without permanent infrastructure, a perfect fit given the uncertain completion timeline of their energy center. The EaaSy package included:
• 4 x air-cooled chillers Sintesis Prime RTAF 185 units
• 4 x air-to-water heat pumps Sintesis Advantage CXAF-100
• 35000-liter buffer tanks
• Special hydraulic kits.

Results
The initial installation and the strategic partnership under the Trane EaaSy contract yielded highly successful outcomes. The company secured a minimum three-year contract with the possibility of extension up to five years. This setup not only provided the necessary cooling for the company’s manufacturing processes but also allowed them ample time for proper planning and construction of their permanent facilities.
