AdaptiFan will change your chiller behavior by adjusting fan speed to the unit operating conditions (load %, ambient temperature, start up,…)
Adjusting all fan speed will reduce power input, and therefore chiller consumption and also avoid air bypass making the condenser coil more efficient.
With Adaptifan, chiller operation is improved by having a better air flow through the condenser and reduce power requirement from the fans.
Optimized operation
When fans are activated sequentially, air is bypassed through the fans reducing its ability to cool the heat exchanger. This results in a reduction in chiller efficiency. With AFD fan speed, all fans work together to avoid air bypass and optimize airflow.
